I promised I would post the chapters of Spring by the end of the week, and here we are. Is is ready? I don’t know, take it like a work in progress. A week ago, I though those chapters were nailed. But coming back after almost a year, taking some distance from rope allowed me to see so many things that could be improved.

Then I reached out and showed my progress to 7 other rope educators, in 4 different countries, over 5 skype sessions of 1-3 hours each. Each time there were discoveries, each time there was ah ah moment, major changes that could be made to create something even better, at the cost of some work. I am so grateful of the generosity of my friends for this project. Thank you!

What was supposed to be a week of rest turned into an obsession of writing, I couldn’t stop, and the support from my peers and community just fuels into this. The page count is now over 400! What a milestone! I have so much more to do, but I feel more confident than ever.

So here is a snapshot of the table of content of spring as of Nov 27 2018. This first season is about “Foundation and Classics”. What are the things you would expect to be there? What are the key concepts you believe to be at the very core of rope practice? Are we missing something important?

Enjoy this sneak peek:
