Rope knowledge is infinite and there are many sources of information in various formats. In this section, you will find a variety of resources where you can learn more about rope bondage, shibari, kinbaku. Learning in person is the best way to discover rope as certain concepts requires to feel and touch the rope to understand the subtleties. That said, books, videos and other online content are great to explore the diversity of the rope world and can help get you started if you don’t have the privilege of a local community. Always look at the different resources with critical thinking. Rope is a rather recent practice in history and we are constantly learning to make it safer.
